Storytellers

Thank you to all of the storytellers who have shared their stories or reached out to share their appreciation for this project. Thank you for your courage, purposefulness and vulnerability. Your stories mean so much to so many and LBP has already received many notes of gratitude from other survivors who, for so many reasons, are not able to share their stories. Thank you for being willing to share your stories and for being part of our work to end child sexual abuse. Without you, this project would not exist.

Mimi kim of creative interventions' s.T.O.P.

Deep gratitude goes to Mimi Kim for her incredible decades-long work in building community accountability and transformative justice. Thank you for your time and support with this project, for your generosity in sharing resources and for your continued commitment to building responses to violence within our communities.

This project was inspired by Creative Interventions' StoryTelling and Organizing Project (STOP), a collection of stories of everyday people ending violence. I encourage everyone to listen to the stories they have collected and to read the Creative Interventions Toolkit: A Practical Guide to Stop Interpersonal Violence, all of which can be downloaded for free.

Bay area transformative justice collective (BATJC)

I am incredibly grateful to the BATJC and the work that I have gotten the honor of being part of building for the last 4 years. Our work continues to fundamentally inform how I understand liberation, transformative justice and work to end child sexual abuse.

Thank you to all the people who have given me the honor of supporting them in their responses to child sexual abuse in their families and communities. It is because of you that I have heard (and been witness to) some of the most transformative and deeply moving stories that make me believe that anything is possible and that we can end child sexual abuse. Thank you for allowing me in your lives and trusting me with your stories of violence and abuse. This project was inspired by you.
