Looking For Storytellers in LA, Atlanta and Durham

Getting ready for our cross country road trip to collect stories--i can't believe it is happening in 2 weeks 😱! so far, we will be driving to 16 confirmed cities in May! 

We have some space left in LA, Atlanta and Durham if there are storytellers who would like to share their stories. All stories are anonymous and can be from survivors, bystanders and/or people who have harmed, remembering that these categories are not mutually exclusive.

1. The Living Bridges Project will be in Seattle, April 17-20 collecting stories. If you know of someone in the area who may have a story to share, please share the call for stories with them (it includes a link to contact LBP). You can also share the post from our FB Page. Thank you so much for all you've done already to spread the word about this project!  

2. LBP is going on a cross-country road trip all of May to collect stories!!! So excited to meet with storytellers around the country whose courage, tenderness and generosity never fail to move and inspire me.💘

Gratitude and Confirmed Storytellers

Hi LBP community,

First off, i would like to express my gratitude for everyone who has shared, posted, emailed, tweeted, talked about this project. Thank you so, so, so much. We have gotten emails from storytellers all over the country. Please keep sharing the Call for Stories so LBP can reach as many storytellers as possible.

I also wanted to share with you where we have confirmed storytellers (people who have confirmed they are willing to share their stories). We also have many more storytellers who have not confirmed yet or are unable to share their stories (for many, many reasons). LBP will work to get to as many of these places as we can in 2017.

First Story Is Up! And More!

The first LBP story, To Be Brave, is up and ready to go, along with a new blog post with the same name. It is so exciting to finally get to share these stories with you, after swimming in them for months while editing. I can't wait to share the next ones with you. 

There is also a new main Audio Story page as well as a brand spankin' new LBP Facebook page, which I hope we can stay connected through too. 

The LBP  Call for Stories is still live. Thank you to all of you who have already contacted LBP! I have started to begin planning for the spring to collect more stories, so please be in touch if you have a story to share. LBP has a limited travel budget, but I will try to get to as many storytellers as I can!
